Uvira sector commander, Gen Ramazani Fundi calls out Maïmaï armed forces to come and fight against Tutsi citizens.
Yesterday on 15 Feb 2023, the Uvira sector commander General Ramazani Fundi, has called out Maïmaï rebels from Middle land plateau, to come and fight against what they call congolese Tutsi citizens.
News from our reliable sources of information to Minembwe capital news is that, these Maïmaï rebels groups have already arrived in Uvira in parts of Gasenga that is South KIVU.
When Minembwecapital News talked to some Gasenga residents they reportedly said that These armed groups having been called out by Uvira city sector commander General Ramazani Fundi. They came from “ kitutu ” , which is in middle land plateau of Uvira.
Purposely what brought these Maïmaï armed group is not pleasantly agreeable to South KIVU citizens, this comes after the leader of Bembe Maïmaï Armed groups General William Amuri Yakutumba has recently requested the Kinshasa government to allow him to go and fight against M23 in North KIVU.
It was reportedly said that these Maïmaï forces have been called in Uvira, looking way forward to send them in Masisi territory that is North KIVU. Others suggestively said that, they might have come to destabolize the presidential voting cards delivery as most of Southern KIVU Tutsi ( banyamulenge) people are being disallowed to have the m, which is already approved in different parts of the province that is Bukavu, Uvira with out setting apart Kalemi .
